Enchanted Christmas

So I attended The New Year Parade dressed as Belle from Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas! We were there raising money for charity (RNIB).
I decided a few days before christmas to wear this dress, I was originally going to wear my yellow gown but I knew it would've been too cold! I used some lovely red wine velour and gold metallic brocade, was really lucky with fabrics as I just panic buyed last minute! xD and made it in a week over christmas. I took my time on the bodice so I'm pleased with how that turned out, but that didn't leave a lot of time for me to make the skirt so that was unfortunately rushed! and I didn't try it on till the night before when helped me sew it together! haha.
The day itself was wonderful! The weather was beautiful and sunny, loads of people turned up and it was SO gratifying seeing the children's faces light up and them actually recognising our characters!!
